Avocado – the magical fruit

A tropical fruit, the avocado contains great amounts of nutrients good for the skin. It is rich in vitamins E, A, D, K as well as B vitamins. It also contains a lot of copper, iron and folic acid.
The fats contained in avocado are very similar in structure to the fats in human skin. This is precisely why they are so quickly absorbed by the body regardless of whether the fruit is consumed or used as a mask.
If ladies wish to preserve the freshness of their skin and appear younger than they actually are, they should use avocado masks two or three times per week.
Even made at home, avocado masks have strong antioxidant and hydrating properties. They also help with skin regeneration and speed the healing of wounds.
For young-looking skin with a healthy complexion, mash ½ of avocado with a few fresh mint leafs. Add a few drops of lemon juice and apply to a clean face. Rinse after 20 minutes with warm water. This mask is suitable for oily skin.
For dry skin, combine ½ of mashed avocado with 1 egg yolk. Add 1 teaspoon of flour and mix thoroughly. Apply as the mask above.
Rejuvenating mask for all skin types: add 1 teaspoon of warm olive oil and 1 tablespoon of dry yeast to ½ of mashed avocado. Mix well and let sit for 10 minutes. After that you can apply it to your face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Rinse with warm water in 20 minutes.
For shiny, luscious hair, mash up ½ of avocado and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Apply to dry hair for 20 minutes and wash with your favorite shampoo.
