Homemade apple facial masks

Nature has many gifts that we can use to make our skin fresh and bright. Apples contain a great variety and an admirable amount of vitamins and minerals. They also contain pectin, apple and citric acids, as well as different enzymes.

Raspberry facial masks

Raspberry is one of the useful fruits, which nature so abundantly gives us. It is often an ingredient in popular cosmetics. It can freshen facial skin, remove the grayish undertone and old cells and restore its brightness better than anything else.

For a healthy matted undertone

Grind a handful of raspberry leaves. Scald them with a small amount of boiling water. Drain in gauze and leave on face for 15 minutes. Rinsing is not necessary. (more…)



Grapefruit and pear for dry skin

Ingredients for the mask: A small to medium sweet pear, 1 tablespoon whipped cream and 1 tablespoon grapefruit juice.
Blend the pear and drain on a gauze. Mix 1 tablespoon of the pear puree with sour cream and grapefruit juice. Apply mask to thoroughly cleaned skin on face and neck. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes and rinse off with warm water. Afterwards wash face with cool water. Apply regenerative lotion if necessary.

Nourish the skin with grapes

Autumn is on our doorstep again. This season grapes are a favorite fruit to children and adults alike. Aside from enjoying its flavor, we can also use it to make ourselves beautiful. Very few people are using grapes to whip up a revitalizing homemade morning mask and it’s a shame because this is so easy.
All we need is two or three grapes. After your morning cleansing routine, take one grape, break its skin and rub face, neck and eyelids with the juice. The mask will be ready to take off by the time we are done with brewing coffee and making sandwiches for the kids – 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse the mask off with cold water. Now your face has received its nourishing vitamin breakfast, which leaves the skin feeling revitalized, smoother and firmer.

A miracle-mask with carrots

Carrots have excellent properties. They nourish, moisturize, refresh, enhance elasticity and make the skin smooth.
Finely shred one carrot. Apply the puree-like texture on the face and neck and cover with a towel. Rinse off with lukewarm water after 20 minutes and apply nourishing lotion.
The mask is suitable for every skin type, especially if the skin is suffering from inflammation or acne.
