Effective ways to help your skin regenerate and rejuvenate with homemade treatments

Cottage cheese mask
Combine 2 tablespoons of fresh cottage cheese, 1 raw egg yolk and a few drops of hydrogen peroxide. Mix until it forms a thin mass with no lumps. Apply mask to face and neck area and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with cool water. This mask will refresh your skin and make it slightly lighter than before, which is especially pleasant in the winter when skin tends to get a grayish hue.
Herbal tonic
If your skin is flaky or inflamed then it is probably too dry to heal on its own or with the help of just lotion. Make yourself an herbal tonic using 1 tablespoon of each: mallow root, linden blossom and honey. Cover all with a cup of cold water and bring to boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 10 more minutes. Remove from heat and let mixture cool down for another 10 minutes. Strain and pour into a bottle. If refrigerated, this concoction will keep its beneficial properties for weeks.
Yeast mask
Mash up 30gr of fresh yeast. Heat a few drops of honey in a spoon and add to yeast. Mix well. Mixture should not be too thick. If you have dry skin, ad a few drops of olive oil. Apply mask to face and neck area and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Wash away with warm water and rinse with cool water. This mask will give your skin more elasticity.
Apply the mask to your face every day for a week. Always perform this procedure in the evening, since it is better if you don not go out afterwards. Treat your face with a nourishing night cream an hour before you go to bed and don’t forget to remove the excess with a tissue. Day by day your skin will look better and better and its elasticity will improve.
