Tending to mixed type facial skin

We know we are dealing with mixed skin type when one part of the face is dry, while another is oily.
After waking up in the morning take a cube of cosmetic ice, made by freezing mint tea, and rub face with gentle circular motions. This will help regulate the secretion of the sebaceous glands. After this procedure apply a non-fat emulsion. (more…)



Homemade facial mask with fresh potatoes

Peel, wash and shred one potato as finely as you can to make a raw puree. Place shreds between two pieces of gauze and lay on face. Remove after 15 to 20 minutes and rinse face with warm water. (more…)

Advice for problematic oily skin

With the hot summer approaching, oily skin becomes even oilier. In order to regain the pH balance of the skin, use night cream with geranium oil or lotus, to help prevent inflammations. In the morning, wash your face with warm water, but no soap. Afterwards treat your face with a gel with algae extract and zinc. Throughout the day, use a non-oily lotion rich in vitamin B6. (more…)

Homemade peach face and neck mask

This mask removes signs of fatigue and brightens the complexion. To make it combine 2 tablespoons of ground oats with 1 egg yolk and 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Add finely grated fresh peach. Mix and when everything is well blended, apply to face and neck area. Keep the mask on for 15-20 minutes and rinse with purified or mineral water.
