Toning and nourishing homemade mask for mixed skin types

Ingredients:
A bunch of parsley
½ of quince
2 tablespoons of whole cottage cheese
Squeeze the juice out of 4 tablespoons of finely chopped parsley and add 2 tablespoons of quince juice. Mix well and stir in the cottage cheese. Apply to face for 10-15 minutes and rinse with cool water.

Asparagus eye mask – an effective home treatment for puffiness and circles

If used regularly, this mask can successfully rid you of dark circles and puffiness around the eyes.
Shred one fresh asparagus and keep the juice. For this mask you will need 2 teaspoons of asparagus juice and 2 teaspoons of each, olive, almond and peach oil.
Dip one thin cotton makeup removal pad for each eye in this solution. Place them over the eyes and keep them on for anywhere between 20 minutes to an hour. For greater effectiveness do this every day for 2-3 weeks.
If you decide to perform this procedure before going to bed, make sure to remove all traces of the mask and do not apply night cream to the area to avoid swelling.

For a smooth, soft neck area – nourishing masks which you can make at home

Flour for a silky neck
Mix 3 tablespoons of rice flour with 2 tablespoons of milk to form a smooth thin sauce. Clean the skin of the neck with cleansing lotion. With gentle massage motions, rub in slightly heated sesame seed oil. On top of it apply a thick layer of the mask and leave it on for 20 minutes. The sesame seed oil warms the skin for deeper absorption of the nutrients. Rinse with warm water. (more…)

Against acne – an egg white and oat bran mask recipe you can make at home

This homemade egg white and oat bran mask moisturizes the skin and tightens the pores. To make it, simply beat one egg white into foam and add enough oat bran to form a thick but pliable paste. Spread mixture on face and leave until dry. Rinse with cool water and follow up with cold water to close the pores.

Banana facial masks – a delicious way of softening, hydrating and scrubbing your skin

Shaping and softening facial mask
1 banana
1 tablespoon of honey
½ tablespoon of jojoba oil
1 egg white
1 tablespoon of white clay
Mix all ingredients thoroughly and apply to face and neck area. Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse with warm water. Clean skin with tonic lotion and apply moisturizer. (more…)

Cottage cheese mask
Combine 2 tablespoons of fresh cottage cheese, 1 raw egg yolk and a few drops of hydrogen peroxide. Mix until it forms a thin mass with no lumps. Apply mask to face and neck area and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with cool water. This mask will refresh your skin and make it slightly lighter than before, which is especially pleasant in the winter when skin tends to get a grayish hue. (more…)

Homemade spring mask with cottage cheese

This cottage cheese mask has a nourishing effect and helps cleanse the skin from dead cells. It is rich in calcium and selenium, which help keep the skin youthful. To make the mask, mix together 1 tablespoon of cottage cheese, 1 tablespoon of sour cream and 2 tablespoons of ground almonds. Apply to face for 20 minutes, the last couple of which massage it with gentle circular motions. Rinse away with cool water and follow up with a moisturizing lotion. Use twice weekly for best results.
