Avocado – the magical fruit

A tropical fruit, the avocado contains great amounts of nutrients good for the skin. It is rich in vitamins E, A, D, K as well as B vitamins. It also contains a lot of copper, iron and folic acid.

Homemade spring banana mask

This mask excellently nourishes the skin and can be done before going out in the morning. It supplies the skin with important vitamins, giving it enough energy to last the whole day.
Ingredients:
½ of banana
Olive oil
Lemon juice
Citrus fruit of your choice
Mash banana and add olive oil. Combine with freshly squeezed lemon juice and mashed citrus (lemon, orange or grapefruit). Apply to face and neck and leave for about 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse and hydrate with your favorite moisturizer.

Homemade facial mask with radish

Ingredients:
1 radish
1 tablespoon green tea
1 teaspoon aloe juice
1 cup boiling water
Wash radish thoroughly and shred it. Steam green tea with water. Combine 20 grams (0.7oz) of finely shredded radish with green tea and add aloe juice. Mix well and apply a thin layer on face and neck. Rinse after 20 minutes with warm water.

Homemade peach face and neck mask

This mask removes signs of fatigue and brightens the complexion. To make it combine 2 tablespoons of ground oats with 1 egg yolk and 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Add finely grated fresh peach. Mix and when everything is well blended, apply to face and neck area. Keep the mask on for 15-20 minutes and rinse with purified or mineral water.

Homemade pumpkin mask for dry skin

The following mask is especially beneficial for ladies with dry skin type. To make it, blend 2 tablespoons of roast pumpkin. Add 1 tablespoon of each: olive oil, almond oil and sour cream. Spread mixture on face and neck. Cover with a piece of gauze or some light and clean cotton fabric. Keep mask on for 20 minutes and rinse first with warm and then with cold water.

Caring for the delicate skin of the neck area

As we diligently care for our facial skin, let us also not neglect the delicate skin of the neck area. For irritations of the skin in the neck area, popular medicine suggests soothing procedures with salt.
After taking a bath or shower, rinse shoulders with the following solution: 2 tablespoons of salt dissolved in 4 cups of warm purified water. (more…)
